Universal Roofing & Exteriors continues to offer roof inspections and repair / replacement estimates during these unprecedented times. We are deemed an essential business under the Governor’s Executive Stay-At-Home order 20-08.
We are able to provide replacement estimates without a physical inspection of the roof. Accurate assessments of roof damage or repair requirements may require an exterior-only on-roof inspection. If storm damage or hail damage is suspected, we may recommend contacting your insurance agent. However, we will never request for you to sign a contact in order to meet with an insurance company. Do not sign one of these documents.
Here are a few of the ways we can help you get the information you need:
- HOVER Photographic / Satellite Measurements
- Virtual Phone & Video Consults (FaceTime, Duo, etc.)
- Electronic Photo Reports, Some Damage Assessments and Estimates
Especially in times like these, we are seeing our competitors door knock neighborhoods that are suspect for storm or hail damage. For your family’s health and safety (and our employees), we will, as we always have, refrain from door knocking. Springtime storms bring a lot of fly-by-nighters into our communities, so stay vigilant. When in doubt, call your local contractor who has been in the community for over 30 years.
To maintain our health and safety at our office, we are following the CDC guidelines. Our facilities are not heavily visited by the general public. We have reinforced and enhanced our office cleaning policies and continually sanitize all areas. We are limiting in-house inspections to those specifically requested by the homeowner. You can expect each of our team members to utilize personal protective measures and appropriate social distancing. Additionally, we are pursuing additional creative ways to utilize technology to minimize unnecessary person-to-person contact.
Our hearts are with those near and far who have been affected, and we wish you and your families good health.
